International experts join high tech support organisation Print E-mail

The Advanced Digital Institute (ADI), the UK’s first independent organisation dedicated to supporting the growth of high-tech companies through the provision of world-class Research and Development, has appointed three new technology experts to support its continued growth.

Dr. Enrique Aguado, Sector Manager Digital Signal Processing (DSP) joined ADI having worked at Leeds University for10 years in various senior research positions including Acting Director of the Institute for Satellite Navigation. Dr. Aguado’s areas of expertise are in satellite navigation receivers and wireless communications. He has worked for international communications organisations such as One2One.

As sector manager Dr. Aguado who lives in Leeds, will be responsible for managing projects with collaborating companies and universities. He will also be directly responsible for business development and for managing relationships.

Also joining ADI’s team are Dr. Mounir Adjrad and Dr. Lay Teen Ong, both as research engineers.

Dr. Adjrad has worked as a research officer on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) at the Institute of Satellite Navigation at Leeds University and the Surrey Space Centre at the University of Surrey. His main areas of expertise are in processing, radar and GNSS applications. He lives in Leeds.

Dr. Lay Teen Ong, who has over 10 years experience working on research and development projects in the field of wireless communications and RF engineering, lives in Keighley, West Yorkshire. Dr Ong joined ADI after spending the last three years at the Centre for signal processing for communications at Cardiff University.
 
All the appointments directly reflect ADI’s plans to recruit leading visionaries with international reputations in their fields of expertise.
